Aya Kurosawa is the founder of KI-DO YOGA and ZEN FITNESS in California, teaching since 2006.
Certification in Hatha yoga, Seitai-self-conditioning alignment exercise, Reiki, Japanese Dietary Lifestyle Teaching, Zen meditation since 2006. Obtaining Dharma name.

This ground-breaking exercise program focuses on internal guidance and ability to develop your heath awareness. The exercise empowers your mind and body. The exercise works on your alignment corrections and rehabilitation as a core of all exercise. This is called, Seitai self conditioning exercise, uses same concept and techniques from Chiropractic rehabilitation. The difference is, you can do it all by yourself without spending expensive doctor visits. The class is a powerful mix of massive breath work exercises, shiatsu (acupressure) self-massage, self-conditioning (Seitai), moving-meditation, basic Abs work and ancient wisdom. The immediate affects I felt were: gain flexibility, lost weight and able to bend my injured knee which was almost impossible only a few weeks before I started the Seitai. But the greatest benefit, I feel, is the ability to feel "centered" which is great especially if you are into meditation and holistic approaches in life. The exercise is very soothing and the instructor always emphasizes to proceed "on your accord" and "communication with your body" which I greatly appreciate. I have taken other exercise programs that push learners and I ended up injuring myself. The basic concept of "Ki" flow is very practical Eastern approach to heightening awareness. Somehow I find this exercise and the location of the Hakone Garden to be a powerful match to bring awareness to higher level; they resonate and synchronize inner energy and I feel much cleansed and focused each time I attend the class.
